Stephanie is the Founder and President of Viri Group, a Portland-based company that specializes in strategy, risk mitigation and change management for small and medium-size enterprises.
Stephanie is a seasoned marketing executive with over 20 years in developing and implementing results-driven strategic plans that exceed business objectives. She specializes in creating and managing high-performance teams that thrive during chaotic times. She also has extensive experience building consensus and facilitating co-created solutions among company partners, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders, and is a Prosci-certified change management practitioner.
Her experience includes executive and senior marketing positions with both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies such as: Time Warner, National Geographic Channel, Verizon, and Black & Decker. Her teams have earned numerous industry awards for excellence in marketing, branding and advertising that get results. Stephanie is passionate about the power of small business and believes small businesses should have access to world-class expertise like the big guys. She was an early convert to the value of social enterprise as a new business model for a thriving local economy after taking a hands-on course in social entrepreneurship in 2007. Combining the power of business with solving community problems continues to inform her thinking today. She loves to mentor others who are getting started in the social enterprise journey.
Prior to joining the ACMP Pacific Northwest Chapter Board of Directors, Stephanie served on the board for Hatch Innovation, a non-profit “one-stop-shop” for social innovators and entrepreneurs.
Stephanie holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Maryland, and a BA in Political Science and Russian Studies from Hollins University. She resides in Portland, Oregon, where she enjoys getting dirt under her fingernails, raising backyard chickens, and igniting the social innovation movement.
